Snow Day Policy Public school cancellations can be heard on the radio or seen on WCAX TV Channel 3 in the early morning. If Cavendish Elementary School is closed, then Stepping Stones will also be closed. In addition, if a 2 hour delayed opeing of Cavendish schools has been announced, our morning preschool program will be delayed as well. In the even of a 2 hour delay, Stepping Stones will open at 9:30 a.m. Early Dismissal If Stepping Stones Preschool needs to be dismissed early due to weather, loss of power or water, parents will be notified by the teachers that school is closing. if a parent cannot be reached, the child's emergency contact will be notified.
